THE GREAT AND DREADFUL DAY OF THE LORD
*THE GREAT AND DREADFUL DAY OF THE LORD*!
"Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the *great and dreadful day of the LORD*." (Malachi 4:5)
This phrase occurs frequently in the Bible, reminding us over and over again that although God is merciful and longsuffering, He will not remain silent forever. Man's "day" will end someday, and the day of the Lord will come.
"Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! . . . the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light" (Amos 5:18). "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come" (Joel 2:31). "The great day of the LORD . . . is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness" (Zephaniah 1:14-15). "Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger" (Isaiah 13:9).
*My husband had a terrifying dream last night May 14 2020*
It was a very terrifying one.
He saw events that will take place before the second coming of Jesus.
He said just like the bible described it, that it is indeed *a great and dreadful day*
He saw that everywhere was dark, no sun, no stars, no moon.
Darkness everywhere.
The there was loud thunderstorms and lightening...rumblings, very fearful!
Great Earthquakes, then rocks were flying in the air(maybe rocks that came from outer space)
Then he said the ground was opening, and things like rocks were appearing from the ground..
Things were disappearing, the breeze was blowing the trees and everything around.
He said everything was shaken out of place.
*The breeze, the winds, things were shaken, and falling out of place*.
They were all shouting and saying
*Let the rocks fall upon us* he said people were praying for death.,
They were so terrified.
He saw even my little daughter and the brothers running helter skelter, from one place to the other, screaming because of fear.
He then grabbed, my last daughter and held her, and then he started looking for me(the wife)
Looking for me everywhere, he thought maybe something must have happened to me, and then he saw me with some group of people, we were preaching to some people, we were very calm as if nothing was happening, we weren't perplexed or afraid.
He said he saw me doing evangelism with some people in that dream, and then he was wondering how we were able to be calm in the midst of what is happening, and that was when he woke up.
Luke 23:29-30
29 *For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck*.
30 *Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us*.
Matthew 24:19
*And woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suckling*
Revelation 6:12-17
*And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood*;
13 *And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind*
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and *every mountain and island were moved out of their places*.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 *And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb*:
17 *For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand*?

*Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken*.
Hebrews 12:26-27
*Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven*.
*And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain*.
Who are those that will remain after the shaking?
Who are those that will be able to stand before The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords?
Luke21:36 KJV
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and *to stand before the Son of man*
Psalms 24: 3-4
*Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place*?
4 *He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully*.
The Lord is coming for a pure bride, who is wearing his garment of righteousness.
Without stain, wrinkles or spots.( 2 Corinthians 11:2, Revelation 19:7-8)
