They would pass a law that would be opposed to God's laws. Those who will object to those laws, will be in minority and would be regarded as the enemy of the people. The last I remembered, is that Christians are the light of the world, and ambassadors for Christ here on earth. We're to shine our lights, so that through us others can also receive that light which is Jesus Christ our Lord. Among all people of goodwill. As good as it may sound.. Nothing is wrong with peace and unity, yes but we have to be careful when it comes with uniting with the world. What does the Bible say about uniting with the world? *Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness*?( 2 Corinthians 6:14) It is important to note that there will be no peace and safety in this world until Christ, who is the Only Prince of Peace returns.. All that is happening will increase, and not decline, until Jesus comes.( Matthew 24:7-8) This world and everything that is it is doomed
