THE BRIDE GROOM AND THE BRIDE
27 MAY 2019
I had a dream that one of my friends was engaged to a man and the date of their wedding was very near. But this woman was sleeping around with different men thinking that her husband to be will not find out.
Then the day of the wedding came instead of the husband to get married to her, he abandoned her and rather got married to another woman. This woman the man got married to was a single mom, she had a child out of wedlock in that dream, and the society was looking at her as the worst sinner, not knowing that she had repented and given her life to Christ. She is no longer living a life of sin, but that baby that she had made it to look as if she's a sinner.
Meanwhile the one who didn't have a child was a prostitute sleeping with different men in her secret chamber.
This my friend who was disappointed went to see the woman the man got married to and they saw that it was that woman and she was surprised and said " is this woman better than me"? in her mind this woman who already had a child, but the groom preferred to get married to the one who had a child and is not a prostitute than one who doesn't have a child but is a prostitute.
INTERPRETATION
The Bridegroom is Jesus, he is our husband, the husband of the Church.
The engaged woman is the church, the church is the wife of Christ or faithful individuals are his wife.
Now we are supposed to be married to Jesus when he comes again at the wedding feast. But we are not ready, we are supposed to make our garments white, we are supposed to keep our selves as virgins not defiling ourselves with sin, false worship and following other gods.
A woman represents the Church.
A Harlot or adulterer in the bible is one who goes after other gods, one who is involved in false worship, one who is living a life of sin.
The moment we start disobeying God we are seen as harlots or adulterers.
The woman who had a child before but now in Christ, represents God's children who have sinned in their past lives but have repented and turned away from their sins and are now following Christ.
So when people are still looking at these sets of people as not worthy to become the bride of Christ, they will be surprised at what will happen.
Men look at the outward appearance but God looks at the heart.( 1Samuel 16:7)
God doesn't look at our past life what he looks at is our present situation, as long as you realize your sin and come to him he will forgive you.
Once we are in Christ old things are passed away and we are now new in Christ Jesus.
There is no sin that God cannot forgive, even if you are a serial killer, a prostitute, idol worshipper, a fraudster etc...the Lord is calling you today, he says " Come now let us reason together says the Lord, even though your sins are as scarlet they shall be as white as snow".(Isaiah 1:18)
this is the promise of God.
No man should condemn you, just believe in his word that he will forgive you and that is all.
God forgave Paul after he killed and persecuted many Christians.
On that day of the wedding, so many people will be driven out of the wedding feast because they are not putting on the garment of the Bridegroom (righteousness of Jesus Christ)
So many people will be driven out because of hidden sins in our lives, do not hold on to it, confess them everyday to God and plead for his mercies everyday.
Very soon we shall hear the midnight cry, "Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. " (Matthew 25:6)
are we ready to meet him?
Shalom!

8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
