THE OBEDIENCE OF FAITH
THE OBEDIENCE OF FAITH
What is the role of obedience in the Christian life? If we cannot be justified or save by our works, and at the same time, no one can be save who disobeys God, what then is the relationship between our salvation and obedience? Why is obedience critical in our Christian life? How can we even obey God when the carnal mind is in enmity with God? What is the obedience of faith? Is obedience to God a reflection of our faith in Him?

NOTE
It is impossible to attempt a Christian duty without being one. We cannot on our own keep or obey God's law. But we can ask for help! When we pray to God to help us leave a bad habit, overcome a sin we even seem to enjoy, if we sincerely ask Him for help, He'll through His Holy Spirit, (Luke 11:13) give us the power to overcome and to obey Him. Like a phone receiving power from a charger that is plugged to electricity, we receive power from God to live righteously. "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" John 1:12
He who is born of God doesn't continue to sin as long as his seed remains in him. 1John 3:9-10
